BBB FEATURE: EMPOWERING BUSINESS OWNERS TO INCREASE SUCCESS
Would you hire yourself as the CEO of your own business? That is the big question Amy Pocsik, Founder of Bold Moves, will ask when you work together, and then she will teach you how to do just that – take ownership and become the chief of your business and life.
The mission of Bold Moves is to empower women to increase their success exponentially. Amy partners with founders to make an impact and help them own the role of CEO – professionally and personally.
After graduating from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, Amy had a successful career – running a $40M budget, negotiating million-dollar contracts, and managing hundreds of people. Seems ideal, but deep down, she knew this wasn’t enough and had a nagging feeling that somehow there was more.
A mother of two active boys, wife, woman, and natural giver, Amy pushed forward with her desire to create a life she wanted to live and to build a business that supported her dream. In 2021, Bold Moves was founded on her success as Co-Founder and CEO of the Women’s Business League in 2019.
“I know what it was like to be on the opposite side, unfulfilled and longing for more,” Amy explained. “That’s why I made it my life’s work to make sure every person is empowered to achieve a big, bold vision for their life and business.”
Working with Amy is more than just having a sideline coach or cheerleader; you get those too. Amy is your wing-woman flying right by your side. She has decades of corporate accounting experience, working with multimillion-dollar organizations, so she understands the numbers. She can quickly size the bottom line to identify where to cut costs and optimize. But it doesn’t stop there. Bold Moves looks at the whole picture - professional and personal. Amy feeds the same philosophy she’s used throughout her career directly into her coaching. The underlying theme is building a business at the sacrifice of everything else in your life is not worth it.
